SEM Hook LLC (“SEM Hook,” “we,” “us”) is a performance marketing agency based in Red Bank, New Jersey. This policy describes what information we collect through our website and in the course of providing services, how we use it, and the choices you have. Questions or requests: info@semhook.com.
Information we collect
Website inquiries. When you contact us or request a quote, we collect the information you submit — name, email address, company, and message contents. We use it to respond to you and manage our business relationship. We do not sell it, and we do not add you to marketing lists without your consent.
Client platform data. In delivering services, we access advertising and commerce data from platforms our clients authorize — including the Amazon Selling Partner API, Amazon Ads API, Google, and Meta. This access is granted by each client, scoped to their own accounts, and used solely to provide contracted services: campaign management, analytics, reporting, and measurement.
Site analytics. Our website may use cookies and standard analytics to understand site usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
How we handle client platform data
Data retrieved from client-authorized platforms is used only on behalf of that client and is never shared with, combined with, or used for the benefit of any other client or third party.
Amazon data is handled in accordance with Amazon’s Acceptable Use Policy and Data Protection Policy: we retrieve only the data needed to deliver contracted services, protect it in transit with encryption, restrict access to authorized personnel, and retain it only as long as needed for the engagement.
Upon termination of an engagement, or upon request, we delete client platform data in our possession within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We share information only with service providers who help us operate (for example, hosting and email), under confidentiality obligations, or where required by law.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you by emailing info@semhook.com. We respond within 30 days.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time; the effective date above reflects the latest revision.
